We have started the election process for the Horizon Air Outstation Member at Large position. The elected individual will work in congruance with Bobby Shipman, QX ALR on the Horizon Air section 6 contract negotiations. 
 

The two nominated individuals who are willing to serve are: Brian Goodwin and Chuck Clum

The deadline to vote is June 14th, 2021 by 17:00 PST

HOW TO VOTE: Look through your personal email inbox for instructions from AMFA14.org dated yesterday 05/20/2021.  It will send you to the AMFA14.org website so you can cast your vote from there.  You WILL need a login to do this, please contact your local representative if you need assistance with logging in to the website.

Alternate AMFA - Alaska Airlines ASAP ERC Representative Election Results:

In March 2021, AMFA National called for nominations to fill the position of Alternate AMFA– AS Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) Event Review Committee (ERC) Representative. Alaska Airlines members of Locals 14 and 32 were allowed to submit names in nomination for this position.

Following the close of the Willingness to Serve process of this election, there is only one candidate for this position: Eric Walterscheid.

As there is only one candidate running unopposed for this position, an election is not required. The term of service for this position will commence on July 1, 2021.

To all Horizon Air AMFA membership,

The Outstation Member at Large helps the ALR in the Section 6 Contract negotiation process, running through the voted upon contract proposals and presenting them to the company to initiate terms of negotiation. AMFA Local 14 is looking for one member to assist the current ALR Bobby Shipman in the negotiation process with the company and see it through to completion. If more than one person is nominated, and multiple people are also willing to serve, this will go to an election process. Return this form to the AMFA Local 14 Secretary via email no later than Wednesday May 5th, at 15:00 - secretary@amfa14.org
