The AMFA – Alaska Airlines (AS) Negotiating Committee has requested a system-wide
referendum regarding a Maintenance Controller Letter of Agreement (LOA). The
complete text of the LOA will be emailed to each member’s company email address on
April 11, 2022, for your review and consideration.

As many of you are already aware, AMFA Local 14 is accepting contract proposals from NOW through May 13, 2022 for the Alaska Airlines Section 6 Negotiations commencing in October of this year. If you have had any thoughts collectively about what you would want changed for your new contract, please fill out the proposal document form and state the changes you would like to see. We are pleased to announce on March 30, 2022, AMFA and Alaska Airlines Inc.
reached a tentative agreement on a letter of agreement (LOA) to bring the
Maintenance Control workgroup into our collective bargaining agreement. The
LOA provides limited provisions of the current agreement and captures status quo
conditions for the group.

This TA is a regional industry-changing agreement with significant pay increases on the average
24% over the two-year duration of agreement, negotiation openers in 18 months, industry leading
license premiums, industry leading shortened pay progression scale, 1.75% in down year, and
ratification payout equal to retroactive pay to January 28, 2022.

the membership regarding the recent rejection of the AMFA-QX Tentative

agreement put forward for a ratification vote.
