Dear Members of AMFA 14, We are thrilled to announce the commencement of our Annual AMFA 14 Scholarship! We are proud to offer scholarships that provide financial assistance to those pursuing higher education or vocational training.

Dear Members of Local 14, Alaska SEA Line Tech, Marc Echalas’s mother, Carol, has unexpectedly fallen ill while traveling in the Philippines. She has been diagnosed with Viral Encephalitis and presumed Meningitis, which has led to her being intubated and fighting for her life on a ventilator in the ICU. Carol is a mother of three and a grandmother to two young boys.

AMFA Local 14 Safety & Standards: Interim Chairman Appointment  March 23, 2023 Members of AMFA Local 14, Due to an extended absence with Safety & Standards Chairman, Matthew Luedtke, Local 14 has begun the process of filling the temporary vacancy in accordance with AMFA Local 14 Policy.

In February 2023, AMFA Local 14 called for nominations to fill the positions of Horizon Air Airline Rep, members of Horizon were elligible to submit nomination forms to fill this vacancy.

AMFA Local 14's President, Nic Kula, was featured on America's Workforce Union Podcast today. This podcast is available on all platforms, and we are encouraging our membership to listen in to Nic's interview by radio legend Ed "Flash" Ferenc. 

AMFA National is accepting nominations for an election to fill the position of Alternate AMFA – Horizon Air (QX) Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) Event Review Committee (ERC) Representative. Nominations must be submitted to the Local 14 Secretary no later than 5:00PM PST on March 28th 2023.
