Accident Investigation Team

AMFA Accident Investigation Team Members

The Association recently conducted extensive interviews to fill vacant Accident Investigation Team (AIT) positions. We received many applications from experienced and qualified applicants system-wide, and the competition was extremely high.

Members of these airline-specific teams are required to sign a four-year minimum commitment due to training costs and must fully understand that in the event of a major accident, members that are party to an NTSB investigation may be required to remain on scene for a few days or up to several weeks or months.

Members of the airline-specific AITs for AMFA are:

AMFA-ASA
Jacob Suppa, Primary Party Coordinator
James Williams, Alternate Party Coordinator
Marcus Smith, Northern Region Alternate
Daniel Echeverria, Southern Region Alternate

AMFA-SWA
Scott McNabb, Primary Party Coordinator
Ed Messineo, Southwest Region Alternate
Eric Engelking, Northwest Region Alternate
Jim Crocco, Northeast Region Alternate
Chris Montalvo, Southeast Region Alternate

AMFA-QX
Liam Mitchell, Primary Party Coordinator
Cham Ngau, Alternate Party Coordinator
