Primary AMFA Horizon Air ERC Representative
AMFA National is calling for nominations from AMFA Local(s) representing the Horizon Air (QX) membership for the position of Primary AMFA–QX Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) Event Review Committee (ERC) Representative. AMFA National will accept nominations from each Local until 5:00PM ET, April 18th, 2024 The Primary AMFA ASAP Representative serves as the Horizon Air membership’s representative on the QX ASAP ERC and reports to the National Safety and Standards Director or his designee. The Primary is anticipated to be a part-time position utilized on an as-needed basis depending on the demands of the ERC, and the Company shall assign the Association’s ASAP ERC Representative to a day shift, weekends off position at the Portland Operations Center.
The term of service for the Primary will commence on July 1, 2024, and will expire at 11:59PM EST on June 30, 2026, or upon termination of the program, whichever occurs first. The Alternate serves in the event the Primary is unavailable. All active AMFA members in good standing employed by Horizon Air are eligible to be nominated for this position. Nominations must be submitted to Local 14 in accordance with posted procedures.
Nominations must be submitted to elections@amfa14.org no later than 5:00 PM on Wednesday April 17th, 2024. Nomination forms may be obtained digitally via www.amfa14.org under the section “FORMS/DOWNLOADS" (click here)
All nominees will be required to verify their candidacy by completing and returning a Willingness to Serve Form, which will be mailed to each nominee by AMFA National following the close of the nomination period.
Information about the voting process, including the ballot package mailing date and the ballot count date, will be announced following the close of the nomination period.
