Nic Kula Running for President
uncontested candidate - will not appear on ballot

Work location:
ASA SEA // Hangar Maintenance Lead Technician
Current AMFA Local 14 President

My name is Nic Kula, and I am interested in running again to be your AMFA Local 14 President. I have been deeply involved in AMFA since my second year as a technician. I began as a Union Secretary in 2018. There I worked to change how we interact with our membership with a new Website we still use today. In this last term we have continued to upgrade the way we communicate with you via a new text messaging system. We want AMFA Local 14 invested in its future. I want to earn your respect and support of our Local and will continue to work for you. We will continue to do outreach to strengthen our solidarity and our community reputation as industry advocates. Every month I have worked to put out a State of Our Union Letter to keep you, our members informed on big ticket items. I am here for you.

Our Union, AMFA, will continue to fight for you. I would welcome the change to be your President.

Patrick Hayes

uncontested candidate - will not appear on ballot

Work location:
ASA SEA // Hangar Line Technician

Fred Baisch Running for Safety and Standards Chairman

Work location:
ASA SEA // Line Maintenance Technician
Current AMFA Local 14 Safety & Standards Chairman

I feel the Safety & Standards Chairman's job is to address safety concerns and fix the issues when they can. The chair also has a responsibility to gather information and share it with the group. Information is power. We should also strive to get follow up and follow through. Management tends to let things go, we need to hold them accountable. I feel I've made some good strides in these areas, but there's still a lot of work to be done. I'd like to continue working towards making safety the priority it should be.

I respectfully ask for your vote.

Thank you.

Josh Congdon Running for Safety and Standards Chairman

Work location:
ASA SEA // Hangar Line Maintenance Technician Trainer

Safety is key in our day-to-day jobs as aircraft technicians. I have been with Alaska and AMFA for 7 years now while holding multiple roles from Tech to Lead to OJTI and maintaining the role of shop rep. I have been a part of many Safety Risk Assessments trying to make sure our membership is able to work in a safe environment while we maintain the aircraft. I was one of the founding observers to help launch the new LOSA program many of you have been willing to participate in.

My goal if elected, is to make sure there is clear communication inbetween the company from the union and allow members to feel comfortable having a voice on all things safety. I want to make sure our members understand the differences when filing different safety reports and being able to recieve feedback about such items in a timely manner. As an OJTI, I tell every tech I train from new hires to high time guys that if you feel what you're doing is unsafe in any way, to stop immediately and raise your concerns.

I hope to be the representative that all of you would be able to bring any safety items to my attention.

Michael Heasley Jr. Running for Alaska Airlines Airline Contract Committee (ACC)
uncontested candidate - will not appear on ballot

Work location:
ASA SEA // Line Maintenance Avionics

I've been with the Company for nearly 9 years working at the SEA Line. 2.5 years of that have been serving the Union membership as a Shop Representative. I've built a strong foundation fighting for our member's interests and rights from my experience as a Union representative during the grievance process.

The last 10 months I've had the opportunity to serve as an interim ACC Member learning about the role of this position and supporting our Union further. I strongly believe in open communication using full transparency within the Union and holding the Company accountable when it comes to enforcing the language of our Collective Bargaining Agreement.

James Lambert

Running for Horizon Air Seattle & Paine Field Area Representative
uncontested candidate - will not appear on ballot

Work location:
QX SEA // Line Maintenance Technician

I have been with Horizon Air for 27 years. 8 as a Spokane ramp agent and the rest as a line MTX technician. I have served with AMFA as a shop rep and an area rep. Besides being a line technician, I have been involved with many different training programs, committees, and the Air Group CARE team over the past years. I look forward to representing the QX technicians and shop reps in my local work areas and doing our best to help QX MTX grow and stay the great airline that we are.

Thank you for your consideration and your dedication to our A&P skill set.
